Hitchens has got more personal strength than Bill Maher, Bill O’reilly and any other comentator that could be mentioned combined.
I feel bad for Bill when Hitchens is on, I think Hitchens is funnier.

On what grounds do you call Jefferson a Christian? Jefferson did believe in something he called God, and he did agree with many of Jesus’s moral teachings. However, he did not believe Jesus was a divine being who performed miracles; he rejected the idea of the virgin birth and the trinity; he called himself a materialist; and he denied subscribing to any established sect or creed.
Does that really sound like Christianity?
Someone should make a documentary about Hitchens. It would be a worth while watch.

Hitchens is intellectually honest, Maher is not. It’s that simple.
The BOM and the Bible is only proven by God’s power. You can’t prove it’s wrong .
You can, as Leviticus mentions bats as being birds and most biblical prophesies haven’t happened, or only came true because of the Gospels retconning. Nothing divine there.
Nothing wrong with quoting the bible, it is a book written by people for other people to quote, I quote the bible and I don’t beleive in god, I quote it just to show christians how fucked up they are to beleive this kind of nonsense.

The BOM and the Bible is only proven by God’s power. You can’t prove it’s wrong and I can’t prove it’s right. The only satisfactory anyone can get about any holy writ is from the Most High, but that’s if you believe in God.
