He’s a MasterDebater !!
people, for the most part, have shown themselves to be fools
I did. See Professor Veith’s testimony-a hardened atheist zoologist but now Christian and Creationist. Just like a detective solving a crime we must ALSO examine the historical evidence too i.e. the Bible in the context of history. e.g. 2 Peter 3:3-7, words we know are 2000 years old yet since the 1800s Darwin and others since fulfill these words. Up until then society (incl science) accepted God and his creation as the paradigm. Fulfilled by SKEPTICS not believers. That’s seems strange to me.
@MrAliyak
i’m sure u have looked into the proposals of creationism, but obviously haven’t looked into how those proposals are decimated. please don’t tell me u went from atheism to young earth creationism
I’ve listened to both Hitchens + Dawkins over the last few years. I’ve also studied the information presented by creationists. I’ve studied the history and beliefs of the Christian faith and Bible with an open mind. Two years ago I became a Christian after many years of being a hardened skeptic of Christ and Creationism. In hindsight, I believed atheism because I didn’t want to understand the facts of Christianity and creationism. I rejected them outright. Youtube “walter veith testimony”.
@MrAliyak
his core reasoning for being against the concept of god is out of rationality. the emotion is due to the delight he feels when reminding himself that there is no good reason to believe in a biblical god..if u listened to hitchens more, you’d realize that he rarely ever speaks with emotion.
@MrAliyak monothesism rules!!!!! in the sense we do not have to think beyond our belivieves………..ha hoo……
@kotarak which god? if its the bible god then he was spot on, actually a little too soft, the god of the bible is waaaaay more evil
@kotarak how god good?
Psychologically, Hitchens (and Dawkins) speaks with such emotion his voice, it makes me wonder if this is at the core of his reasoning against God and specifically against Christianity in which he culturally has a history. Intelligent people are confident enough in their own reasoning that they don’t feel the need to blatantly mock or insult those who hold different views (even if they believe the other person to be misguided). This principle also applies to ‘the religious’ who bash atheists.
@khyran They’ve always been there. They are just more vocal nowadays. More & more & more. I would love to see the end of the terrible infliction of religion. Maybe another couple of hundred years perhaps.
It’s pretty strange how many % of pple on youtube seem to agree with atheistic ideas, but it’s good to see that.
@kotarak Which god is good? And how is this god good? Please provide some details. Thank you.
Glad my faith is not in little, old you… LOL
Sounds like a little boy who’s mad at his parents
@kotarak
There is NO EVIDENCE AT ALL for any god.
another educated idiot
You can not fix Stupid.
he is right. God is not like this. God is good
@frankystein12 haha yes quite the oxymoron
Naive, naive oh how so naive people!
Hitchens’ stirring eloquence and illuminating rhetoric has the power and elegance of the most inspired preacher; the only difference is he is not selling us myths and half truths, i.e., a crock of shit.
The most primitive part of the Middle East, hehe.
He makes some VERY EXCELLENT POINTS…..
@faithisfiction
I agree. As strawmen go, this is pretty good.
@jcomd i think it would be better depending on your definition of religion and what exact religion it would be as in buddism im not to educated in that area but ive never heard of one single buddist that killed anyone for not beleiving or even killing anyone at all
