I think the trinity has its origins in human psychology. Why would a god have 3 parts and not 5 or 12 or 297. It’s because the number three is the lowest number that we can most identify with the world we live in. For instance, the live in a world of 3 spacial dimensions; stories have a beginning, middle and end. There’s past present and future. Then, there’s the dialectic. 3 gives a sense of completion.
i never met a Christian that believes in a trinity godhead…..
trinity has pagan origin
@LikesCartoons Hosts are expected to be indifferent and just monitor the debate.
What humors me is how both the host and Mr. Craig answer none of Mr. Tovia’s arguments and just blabber on about Christian doctrine.
@MavzBoy its a christian show, what do you expect? Im sure any atheist with a talk show would do the same..
Could the host be any more biased? lol
Anyways, the Tovia brought up excellent points that are parallel with Muslim arguments.
Craig, just as most Christian apologists answered none of them and chose to dodge the questions.
a role playing [modalist] God…and a lying Jesus = the Trinity!
@jdnmlm
you’re*
@reverendparsons
No, you earn salvation through Jesus is what you believe. Your effort is accepting him, same difference.
Besides that, the trinity concept and story is a match. It’s not a unique story.
Did you really think you had some major point, by trying to reduce the word “earn”. You do believe salvation is earned; you earned it by accepting Christ is what you believe. Cmon, i know your more intelligent than that.
@jdnmlm This is the difference. You say that the Hindu’s had if first to show us how to earn our salvation. Christianity is saying something quite different. You don’t need to earn it, it was given to you by God as a free gift. Whether you earned it or not! That’s why it is called salvation brother.
Good video!
that rabbi is SO UGLY but he OWNS the christian guy
i love that big fat jew lol hes amazing. He pwnd that retarded christian
Mr Rabbi, Abraham was saved exactly how Christians are saved today… via faith. U like using the Torah so how about Genesis 15:4-6
“Abram believed the Lord and it was accredited to him as righteousness”
hahaha….am i the only one who laughed at that rabbi
@jdnmlm ok but the hindus dont except a single god or christ…….”You know as a Christians you reject the notion that there are? any other ways to have salvation without Christ.” so your right and were right
Like I said, the Hindu’s had the trinity concept almost 4,000yrs before Christianity. If it is a truth to this trinity, then Hinduism is just as true as Christianity, and since Christianity is later that Hinduism, then that must mean that it was borrowed.
You know as a Christians you reject the notion that there are any other ways to have salvation without Christ.
Sorry, but the Hindu trinity mirrors Christian trinity and Christ, but the Hindu’s scriptures are older than the NT and OT.
“Don’t waste my time with ignorant replies”
The Gospel is foolish to those that will die in their sins
Yea, whatever Christian, there is no trinity.
That concept existed way before Christianity, because the Hindu’s had it first, and there scriptures the Vedas pre date the Jews Old testament even. Hindu trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva). Vishnu came down in the form of a man and told the people how to earn salvation. If your trinity is true then the Hindu’s were right first and Christianity stole it since there scriptures are older than the Jewsish.
Don’t waste my time with ignorant replies.
That is why its called a debate..and Jews do the same thing take the Bible and say Jesus said this or Jesus did not say this Jesus was that Jesus was not that..Muslims do the same thing take Christian scriputres and try and tell Christians what its suppossed to me..Every faith does this not just Christians your so annoying
Christians are so annoying. Just take the Jews scriptures and try to tell them that something is when it isn’t.
@yomamasofat87.sorry can u explain why isaiah would want to prophesy about someone that existed with him?
Exodus 3:15
????? ??? ????? ?????? ??????? ?????? ????? ???? ???? ?????? ???? ????? ???? ???? ????? ???? ????? ????? ?????? ???? ??? ???? ??? ???

And God said moreover to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, Lord god of your fathers, the god of Abraham, the god of Isaac, and the god of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial to all generations.
