@LordiRockz Still, although I don’t care much for my country’s foreign policy, I am an atheist and my atheism has yet to prevent me from putting my life on the line for a country. It’s such a shame that the politicians that proclaim care about our troops would rather not believe that we exist in the military. Only up until recently do we have a president that acknowledges us, where as George HW Bush outright said he doesn’t even consider us citizens.
@LordiRockz True. Although people do generally like to maintain the fantasy that our troops are mostly Judeo-Christian, they pretend it’s somehow a good thing. I personally wouldn’t be offended if someone said that atheists wouldn’t support the Vietnam War, the Korean War, the First World War, or the Iraq war.
I hope all of those Judeo-Christians are proud of dying for a warmongering country.
