Wow, you must have a college degree to figure that one out. Brilliant deductive logic used there, Deductive reasoning is sometimes contrasted with inductive reasoning, in which you move from a set of specific facts to a general conclusion. Phenomena such as how apples fall and how the planets move are induced logic from which we conclude there is gravity. I have deduced the existence, mass, position, and orbit of Neptune from perturbations in the observed orbit of Uranus. PHD needed.

@kookee9 i think the people who want to “save the planet” are not trying to save humans, but save people like themselves, because it turns out that people who want to be green arent doing any help, because hybrids, for example is a lot worse for the environment than regular gasoline fueled cars, and to top it off, it costs alot more to go green than to just stay how we are now, although if you think about it, if you ask a person who lived in the 60s or 70s, he will tell you things have improved

Conceit to think blah blah blah they can save the planet! No intelligent brain has the conceit to think that. They have the CONCISENESS to realize we need to CHANGE. They used a term that Mr Carlin jumped on and blew out of proportion so itty bitty brains could say right on dude! Then they can use the fact that the planet will be ok once we are gone to ignore environmental issues. It’s about RESPECT people not CONCEIT. Respect for all life including our own & being accountable for our actions
AGAIN, “saving the planet” NOT LITERAL. I didn’t miss ‘the’ point. The planet is suffering, it is not TERMINAL, but it is suffering. If you re-read what I wrote, it was exactly what your last two sentences said only in a different way. That was MY point. Mr Carlin on the other hand, said, he’s sick of people who are trying to do it. Listen to it again. He has twisted the truth of what real conservationists and ecologists are trying to do. He made it completely political & a ‘rich white’ issue

@eatingrainbows2010 you missed the point. the planet isnt suffering from us, it will be around long after we’re gone. the point was that we’re trying to save ourselves, not the planet. the planet is fine, we’re the ones that are in danger if we dont start changing.
Oh good grief, the more I listen to this the more ridiculous it gets. Seriously, any ‘enlightened’ brain knows that ‘saving the planet’ is not a ‘literal’ idea. It is a ‘movement’. An attempt by some humans to stop the filth we are producing and begin to respect the planet. To stop creating endangered species and leave THAT up to nature, & to stop POISONING RESOURCES, unlike the small minds that use the excuse “we are only here for a little while” to make a garbage dump everywhere they go.
