Yes, but that’s speaking figuratively. To bow to someone is a sign of respect. In civilized nations, instead of waving or coming up to someone and saying “hi” or “hello”, you bow.
That bow doesn’t represent your obedience to them, its just a sign of respect. Bowing to Allah means to obey His command and way.
I thought Islam forbids bowing to anyone but Allah?
