Once Muhammad Ali started to talk about dressing and how women should dress, basically put parkinson and virtually all of the audience to shame but still got clapped. True legend.
Ali is talking real since about the the dressing
Muhammad Ali is a racist
lets keep it real man…revolutions happen by the sword. you cant be a nice guy like lutherking was saying i have a dream all the time and expect things to change. the nation of islam was to bring power to the people through action..i personally dont agree with it and ali actually converted to sunni islam after the 70’s. its a differnet time now.
remember he time were living in and the time ali lived in. you never experienced the racism ali and most black ppl who were raised in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s. ppl who follow the nation of islam now are stupid because its not relevent anymore but everything ali said abt women covering up more makes perfect sense. if you respect women you should understand. thats why rape is so high in the european western countries. lust makes a man crazy parading the body around is what messes you up
Oh how wonderfully witty of you…….
If my IQ was lower, I would enjoy your conversation.
It’s not a 2010 mindset thing to say that integration is better then seperatism, its just a fact of life,a fact that King and many others recognised at the time. I am neither naive or ignorant,Ali was used and dumped by the Nation of Islam and there is a reason why neither the Nation of Islam nor the KKK have achieved any kind of progress in their attempt to seperate races, beacuse most people, including me,believe this to be fundimentally wrong.
See, thats the typical reverse racism mindstate…White people demanded separatism and now you have the nerve to say that it wasnt logical for black people to want to think it be best to be separated from them? You’re thinking in a 2010 mind state. Think in a 1960s-1970s mind state. You might understand a little better because you are to naive and ignorant to point the finger.
The nation of islam espoused separtism, whites with whites blacks with blacks, pretty akin to the KKK to whom Ali visited as stated in this interview. If you believe that all people of different creeds should remain isolated and seperated from each other then you are no better then a neo nazi white supremicist.
You know nothing about the civil rights movement if you only attribute a Christian ethic to it. The Nation of Islam and its followers played a big part in it whether you like it or not. It taught African Americans that they could be aggressive towards gaining their freedom.I still believe Malcolm X was more effective in his teachings than MLK in gaining freedom.Whites only like MLKs ideals more because they don’t want another threat that could really tear down their dominant structure like MX.
Yes he did experience all this,as did Luther King and many others who did not turn to a dangerous, separatist movement like the Nation of Islam as a resoultion……..
If you cant understand the reason he was weary white people back in racist, lynching, whites only bathroom, America….then you are the ignorant one. He was a soldier. If there weren’t guys like this with strong morals then black people probably would still be having to go around the corner to get a plate of food….You’re the brainwashed one, my friend…not him…
This is great interview. Ali is witty and brilliant, but I still see Parkinson as in control which is what makes him such a good interviewer and this such a good interview. He never looses his cool even when up against the intimidation, aggression and often infuriating narcissism of Ali.
When Ali strays from the topic of boxing he is shown up for the racist, backward, brainwashed man he sadly ended up as due to the Nation of Islam
IQ tests having nothing to do with knowledge and logic.
He was a great boxer, but he is also obviously narcissistic, racist and globally stupid.
all the speculation about his i.q is pretty redundant to me
i dont care what a 60’s psych exam says, just listen to the man speak and watch how he outsmarted his opponents,
he may have had some sort of learning disability like dyslexia or even a.d.d or something but he is clearly a VERY clever man
i think its safe to say this is one of the most iconic human beings of all time
@winnerdoozy. Yeah right. Like you would ever come close to hurting Muhammad Ali. LMAO
True, but if it’s difficult, but it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try treat all women with respect regardless of their attire, or that women should make it easier for men who can’t control themsleves by covering up. To the comment above, if the creator intended us to be covered up, we would be covered in hair. The covering up is just self preservation eg in the Hadiths. If we still lived the way we did 1500 years ago, you wouldn’t be on here typing comments would you? Things have changed…
False, Reggie Jackson took his IQ test at a young age and he scored 160. This exam is NOT BIAS.
8.32…parky gettin angry…..funny stuff…all u lot arguin about IQ is daft…he wud still b livin legend if he was dumb as fuk……ALI RULES
so why waste minutes in your life low life? Ali wasis spreading truth but your to ignorant to realize that stupid motherf****
