Is it smart that I learned to not care about politics and not vote?

I learned that a while ago that all politicians are lying arseholes and that my vote is meaningless. Obviously people have different opinions on the importance of politics, but I have other ways of informing myself on the current events in the world. Is this mindset wrong?

Can anyone recommend a good book about politics?

I would like to find a good book about current US politics. I know that’s a broad question, but it can be about anything regarding politics that you think a 23 year old political science major would find interesting. I would prefer one that is bi-partisan. Thanks!

Each state must be represented by a Republican and a Democrat Senator to achieve true bi partisan politics.No one party should have complete and utter control of congress. Your thoughts?
