www.nicamandigma.com Pilipinas Got Talent Semi Finals Batch 6 Posted on June 5th, 2010 Another Saturday, another live episode of ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent. Excuse me for not being too overly excited with tonight’s perfomances since I’m nursing a hangover. Anyway, here’s what I can tell you about this week’s semi finalists. Baguio Metamorphosis -This dance troupe from the summer capital of the Philippines entertained the audience with their beautifully choreographed dance. However, it’s basically the same thing they did the last time and I was looking forward to seeing different props, costumes, and such. Imuscapella Chamber Choir –This acapella group from Imus, Cavite gave a rendition of Everybody Dance Now. Honestly, they would have done themselves a favor by singing a Lady Gaga song such as Bad Romance. It would have had much more audience impact. Ingrid Payaket — She sang a song from the critically-acclaimed Phantom of the Opera. My mom says she’s a better performer than Fame. Better attitude too. She reminds me of Lea Salonga with her clear voice. Josephine Aton — I watched this girl’s audition and she was impressive and so was her story. I found her jaw dropping this time as she sang I dreamed a dream. The hair on my arms and the back of my neck gave her standing ovation! Carl Malone — His rendition of May Bukas Pa rendered Ai Ai de las Alas and Kris Aquino teary eyed. It was a very good song choice for him and fits his situation perfectly. Plus, he has raw
