Nasatir, President of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago have just completed a 36-hour fact-finding mission to the devastated island nation. The purpose of the visit was to assess the impact of assistance already provided by the Jewish community, and to begin to assess areas where the community can continue to help alleviate Haiti’s dire situation.
