He decided to revert to Islam and adopted the Muslim name Yusuf Al-Khattab. His wife and 4 children followed soon after. He moved from the apartheid settlements in Palestine to the Arab sector of Old Jerusalem (alquds), then he moved to Morocco where he still reside.
