I’ve noticed that most people in here like to act educated on the subject, however, whenever there is a real question, no one answers it.
I asked a question about the inauguration of Obama 15 min ago, and no one has answered yet. could it be because the only reason people come in to this forum is to spew hatred rather than talk politics?
The question shows up for me.

Even with the threat of the women rebelling, the politicians of the time such as John Adams and Thomas Jefferson still refused to include them in politics. Why was that?

People get so aggressive behind the safety of their windshields, becoming haters of other humans when they drive. Politics makes people WAY aggressive.

After the midterm I have noticed people slinging insults to the losing party and then opposite. Politics seems so viral like a disease. Why can’t people be mature and concede in an honorable fashion?

That is was there a time not every issue was construed used to accuse of some such bs. That politicians actually did well politics. Not bipartsian ping pong. I understand politicians are under public eye but think they’d then try to do stuff subtly.

Do you find Hollywood and Politics to be a dangerous mix?

I do. I feel that Sensationalism and Politics should not be mixed at all, but, voters seem to be in favor of this. I think it lends to the lack of credibility of each candidate who goes “Hollywood”.

I have to do a research project on any question of my choosing that ties in to language diversity and language politics at a personal level. This is the question I have chosen to study: In the United States is there a different personal value for speaking any language other than English?

Is it good enough or should I rephrase it differently?
What sources and methods would be good to help answer this question?

Two-party politics can get so bogged down and personal.In many other countries issues are discussed so much more broadlyand imaginatively where there are 3rd and even 4th parties which seriously contend.

A Republican gets in office and the Democrats attack, attack, attack, complain, criticize, and denounce. A Democrat gets in office and the Republicans attack, attack, complain and criticize. Whether its a war or a economic issue, the guy in office never gets it right (according to the other side). What ever happened to setting aside politics and doing the job? Don’t they know that voters get very tired and jaded with the same old BS?
