The Third Temple is prophesied to be built in the Book of Revelation (Rev 11)and in Paul’s second letter to the Thessalonians (2The 2:4),and used by the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation as his headquarters.They may be in doubt as to the true nature of any discovery of ashes unearthed whose authenticity cannot be completely verified. But a perfect heifer, born and raised under a controlled environment, would be fit to be used for the Temple. And that is precisely what is being done today.
thats a good question. Does the new ashes of the 10th red heifer need to be mixed with the old ashes. They are trying throught the dead sea scrolls known as the Copper Scroll that purports to tell the location of the old ashes,( yet they have not been found and if found can they be authentic and uncontaminated? Regardless there is nothing to stop the people of Israel from raising a new red heifer, from birth, and preparing it.
I thought that the 3rd temple cannot be built until the ashes of the previous 9 red heifer’s are found to be mixed with the 10th red heifer then mixed together with water to cleanse the temple mount. Please enlighten me.

I think you a misinterpreting 2Thes.2:4– Paul says that believers are the temple of God (1Cor.3:16, 2Cor.6:16, Eph.2:21), so there is no way Paul could be referring to a literal, rebuilt temple in 2Thes.2:4. And Paul is writing when the 2nd temple was still standing. John uses the same word (naos) in Rev.11:1,2–both apostles are referring to the same ‘temple’, that is, believers. If you get this wrong, you will not be able to properly identify ‘the beast’ or its ‘Mark’. God bless you.
