In what ways does the supreme court take politics into account in making decisions? and is this appropriate? also what would be an alternative?













It seems that politics is the main consideration in Supreme Court decisions. One can deduct that from the 5-4 decisions. If the decisions were based on law they would be 9-0 I would think. Perhaps one might better say the decisions are based on judicial philosophy rather than on politics as such.
