I have to do a project for History, and I cant find where the Jewish belief system started anywhere. Ive been looking for 20 minutes. I know that it was founded by Abraham,Isaac and Jacob in Circa 2000 B.C. Any other info about the Jewish belief system would be helpful as well.

This book will really help you:
The Bible Unearthed: Archaeology’s New Vision of Ancient Israel and the Origin of Its Sacred Texts by Israel Finkelstein and Neil Asher Silberman.
Judaism began with Abraham–the first Jew.
He lived in what is now modern-day Iraq.
Later in his life, he migrated to the Promised Land, which is Israel.
you can look at http://www.whatjewsbelieve.org or www,jewfaq.org but part of the difficulty is that your quest is so broad.
“Jewish” belief is a tough thing to limit. Judaism as a religion has laws and core beliefs but do you mean the beginning of a particular type of monotheism, as with Abraham, the beginning of the Mosaic code or the Jewish nation settled in israel? Without knowing what you want to know, you can never be sure when you have found it.
Adam and eve
Abraham then Moshe/Moses received Torah from HaShem..
ok well to really understand it you have to go from the time after egypt where we are wondering the desert for 40 years. there God gave the Jews (although they were called the b’nei yisrael or children of israel then) the Torah which as you probably know is the bible. it contains lots of stories and mitzvot which are commandments. what the torah is in a nutshell is the handbook to the jewish way of life. lots of books have been written afterwards which have interpretted teachings from the torah.
there is something called the Talmud which is all the arguments of the great rabbis and through those debates have come the jewish law.
also overtime tiny things change but we still havbe the same prayers as 2000 years ago because jews dont like change!
i hope this was of some help to you but if you know of a shul nearby im sure the rabbi would be able to give you something quick and precise
It all started with Abraham.
there is a midrash (a small story) that when he was little his father owned a statue shop. Abraham did not like this because he thought how can you pray to a statue. So one day when his dad was gone he broke all of the statues except for one big lion one. When his father came to the shop later he said “ABRAHAM WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY STATUES!” and Abraham said, “well the lion statues did it”. and his father said “It cant do that it has no power, it cant even move.” and Abraham said, “well they why you pray to it?
